Over the course of a twenty-year career as an FBI agent, I investigated crimes against children, public corruption, civil rights, and espionage while leading a CSI team in the forensic processing of crime scenes.
I co-wrote Iron Angels, an FBI detective novel with supernatural underpinnings and a Publishers Weekly top 10 fantasy, sci-fi, and horror pick for fall 2017. My short fiction can be found in anthologies such as Noir Fatale and Fantastic Detectives. He’s lectured on law enforcement at Mystery Writers of America, Romance Writers of America, Pike’s Peak Writers, and literary conventions.
I’ve lectured and taught for groups such as Mystery Writers of America, Romance Writers of America, libraries, as well as conventions such as Bouchercon, Left Coast Crime, World Fantasy, and multi-day seminars. I’m available for in-person or virtual lectures and seminars.
